How dare you?
Hi, I’m Pete Karl II, and I’m pupating into the next stage of “startup tech person”, and starting a podcast. When I looked around me to ask myself what I’d talk about, I realized, that A) I’m surrounded by books, and B) what I have to say is infinitely less interesting than the prolific readers and writers I’ve learned from over the years.
So, now I’m on a quest to get 100 people to talk to me about how books have forever changed the way they work.
The podcast itself is in production now, so in between I’m sharing takeaways from books past, present, and future in “blog” form (🤷♂️).
What’s with the emojis?
I like to think they add a little je ne sais quoi.

🔖 is the thought/quote that I stopped at while progressing through a post.
✅ or ❌ are my recommendations for the book. I will include these when I’ve progressed through enough of the book to have an opinion.
